Took the day off from fishing yesterday. Playing today by ear. Were waiting to hear from the best local Rooster fisherman to go either this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon. I want a 70lb Rooster Fish!!

Had a low key night last night.

Had a half day on the reef. Bay was still too rough to get out this morning.

Nice Cubera snapper

Caught a mess of yellowtail on topwater plugs. Some incredible action.

We made it home last night around 7:00.  Took the wife to see Casey Donahew last night at Billy Bobs.  We both really like his music and he was on the plane to Libera with us on Sunday.  I dont have very good face recognition skills at all but somehow I recognized him and we shot the number 2 for a while.  Seemed like a really good guy.  He had some transportation issues once he landed but said last night he made it to his resort and had a "do iting" great time!

Here are a few more pics from the week.  If anyone is interested Joe's website is www.RDCharters.com  Hes a Texan and very accomadating to guests.

Pura Vida!

Thanks for the comments.

I wish I could explain the aura that this place gives but I truely believe it has to be experienced to understand.
