Bryant sorry bud ya snuck bug boy in on me. Yes sir he was built like a rambling freight train.  Very athleticly built. I am very sorry you lost him man. Were you able to get any pups or straws on ice off him?

Monte

Here ya go bigun this is a current picture of Lil Shamus aka (Hellbitch) . She looks like she is wore out because she truly is a crack head. Never stops.,  laugh

I'm not a real big fan of a large frame dog, or one that looks and catches like a half pit. But one the other hand, I'm not crazy about a slender headed, long nosed yellow dog either...I like them somewhere in the middle. Built stout enough to handle themselves, but not too big so it makes them less athletic...

" um myles are you sure that you dont have a little ben blood line cuz my cutter dog looks alot like him "

Maye it's just good genetics coming to surface from the same dogs that made WB so well known, I'd have to give the real credit for WB to those dogs a few generations prior to him and the men who bred those dogs  Grin I know WB is surrounded by 2 sides, one that loved him and the other that called him a cull but either way he is one of the most well known yeller dogs to ever live. When I was a catahoula man ( Lord forgive me   angel  ) i only knew of WB, blondie, Big boy , Clues Cowboy dog and ofcourse old yeller

Txhoghunter

I would venture to say he don't have much back up in him. Great pic

AW

Do you have same bloodline that Txhoghuntet has. They look Perty close

Waylon

I know that I don't have any Wb blood in em for the past 23 years my line dogs were local lines for plenty if years prior to that. So far none have been born with pedigree's attached. LOL

But I am still poking around the line to see if its gonna interest me in the future.

Well this is the only yella dog I have so far so I figured I'd put a pic up. She is off Monty's line to and is already pretty feisty.

YBM
I just bred to the dog i posted i dont own him but yes they are brothers. I was wondering if you needed an outcross and found the perfect Yeller dog to add to your line and he/she was the total package but they had a bobtail would it be a deal breaker?

Yes sir it would be a no go for me personally.  Not a thing wrong in the world except my own personal tastes,  but I have to have rudders on all my boats.

I've only owned one.. And I'm satisfied with how he's put together and performs, although I do have a picture in my mind of the perfect yellow dog! I prefer a leggy, more athletic built BMC. Bryants dog that passed is perfect in my opinion.. I really like blOckier headed dos but sometimes their frames can get big. I prefer a smaller/ medium framed dog.. 50-60 #'s

drake is my white colored dog, his hair is just a touch longer than I like but other than that I enjoy him. He'a medium framed, muscular, fast, becoming a go yonder type dog. He doesn't mind going by hisself, he varies but will hunt out over a mile at times. Has good bottom.. Don't know much about his bloodline but he was registered and came from the college station pet store lol

Bess the dog on the left is a very, very nice yellow dog. My buddy JJ up in Wortham owns her, she is just a touch on the big side for me! Big square head and very muscular, she's a beast too! She's as nice a hog dog as I've seen. Slow hunter, but bottom for days!
we just crossed her with a leggy red cur dog Big E owns, hopefully gonna produce the perfect type yelloWs
