Im just now getting around to posting these pics. This is a boar that we caught on 7-24-11. Luckily the dogs bayed it up in the bottom of a drain ditch that had a little water in it because it was a hot mutha! and the wasn't even the slightest breeze. But we were happy all the same. The pics don't do the hog any justice but we were all to hot and sweaty to worry about posing the hog.  James, Sonny, Travis, and our son Tyler  Jesse and Me  Red with his prize  |

Good hog...any hog is good this time of year when the dogs are doing their job, but it's really good when they bay one up that size. I bet them dogs put a smile on yalls face.

I know what you mean. This hunt sort of took some of the wind out of my sails.  Think I will see what holds out longer.... my addiction to hog hunting or my hatred of hunting in this sweltering heat. |
