I had to flight to Maryland today for work, I HATE this part of the US. The people are rude and the food here SUCKS..Let me tell y'all about the trip, the plane ride to North Carolina wasn't bad it was on a large plane but after that it went down hill fast. I landed in terminal A in NC and had 15 minutes to get to terminal E yep on the other side of the freakin state. When I get there the plane is the size of a matchbox toy, twin engine prop plane. I had to walk out on the runway to board the plane and chance would have it the freakin air wasn't on, it was about 95 degrees on this d@m plane. Get in my seat and all around me is pissed off old people and babies, 2 1/2 hrs of this shat. We were really traveling at the speed of smell, a goose flew passed us. Before I left Houston my contact here in Maryland told me he couldn't pick me up at the airport, well I get here in Maryland and there's NO freakin cars for rent, so now I'm stuck in a hotel room with no car and the cable doesn't have 1 hunting channel.....I'M PISSED.....I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK TO TEXAS WHERE I BELONG....

Ya I know what you mean about rude! Went there for two weeks on a job once and hated everything about that place! I finally got enough of it and packed my bags, got a cab to the grey hound station and told em to take my azz back to Oklahoma. It was also a pretty interesting four day ride on that Grey Hound bus to. Never again.

See you in a few.

I was on the puddle jumper and in my seat, the girl behind me left her flower covered bag in the aisle way while people were still loading, an old man looked at me and said, " Are you going to just leave your bag in my way?", I looked at him and asked, "Does that look like it would be my bag?" The guy gave me a "huh" threw his nose up and mumbled down the plane, I wanted to slap the taste from his mouth but I remembered, oooossssfraba.....and put in my earphones with George Strait and tried my best to stay seated...One of the small kids on the plane dropped a bottle so I said excuse me but your baby dropped something, the women gave me a dirty look for talking to her I guess..didn't quit know what to think of that one...

I was born in that area of the country. You can see why I left. The cities and suburbs on the Easdt Coast are trash. If you are stuck in the Baltimore area check out the National Aquarium. Even if you aren't into fish, it's still cool to see. Once you get out into the hinterlands the people are actually a lot like ya'll. I just spent a year working in Central PA. And every bar up there played country music. Everybody drove pick ups or other 4wd vehicles. Everyone hunted... sure it was only wood goats but at least they hunted.

im in the same boat, grew up in the country, a trip to walmart was a treat for me. ended up moving to cleveland where my big truck cant fit in parking spaces and people yell and give me the stink eye for what i wear and i always get "your not from around here are you?"

worse thing is i have to drive through the worse part of town to get to work, one weekend i swear i saw a mangy dog with another dog leg in his mouth. im ready to move south again
