I have been missing my old walker dog Highbawl. I just saw a picture of him and Train baying in Bremond on a dog gear website from FL. The last I heard he was around Missouri somehwere. If anyone has heard where he may be I would appreciate the info. Thank you.

Yeah, i sold him to Mathew and he told me he sold him to some guy around Missouri. That dog hated hogs more than any dog that i've ever seen. I was thinking about buying some semen off of him. Thanks again for any info that you may have.

when did you buy him marshall? A couple yrs ago i believe that I almost bought that dog and train from a man with the handle "gj hesseltine" or something along those lines, I had gotten into contact with him but at the time I was working out of state and it didnt work out, if my memory serves me right highbawl was a walker and train was a bluetick correct?

Train was also a walker and yes both dogs were bought from Glenn Hesseltine.. Hi bawl was a hog crazy, hog hunting, barking sob!! Yes he was OPEN.. But it didn't matter, he carry the hog as far as he needed and roll off when you got there. The first time Marshall took Hi-bawl hunting we were hunting about a 300 acre high fence in deer season, unknown to us there was a hole underneath the fence.. Just like that he started a hog, which headed straight for the hole and rolled on.. Hi bawl followed him and 4 hours later ran that red boar hog back into the high fence where we caught him. We bred him to my gyp and only one pup lived, but at 2 she's finished and Marshll's number 1 dog!

some of the best dogs I have hunted behind had the right walker blood in them. High Ball looks to be a nice walker dog.

Sorry for the delay. He was a good dog. I am glad that I got to own him. He made all of the dogs I hunt with step their game up. He HATED hogs with a passion. I sold him because at the time I was not able to hunt him as much as he wanted to be hunted. I would love to breed him back to a good cur gyp. I bred him to my best gyp the day I sold him but of course she didn't take. The one pup that I do have out of him is great. Very athletic, pretty quiet on track, dedicated, and smart. I hope she is able to grow old. He may be dead for all I know but if not I would like to try to draw some semen off of him. Thanks for all the comments.

Marshall,
That's a good looking walker right there. I wouldn't mind have a pup out of him.
