I wanted to thank Ty Angel for this pup and ETHD, I probably never would have gotten to meet Ty if not for this site, that goes along with a bunch of other great people on this sight!! Come to find out his black Kate dog is pretty close related to all of the cur dogs we hunt. About 3 weeks ago, Ty dropped her off with Mr. Lloyd Perry. Big E and I were able to get the back story on how the black cur dogs came to be started. It was an interesting and very knowledgable trip! Mr. Perry is a true dog man!! Thanks again Ty, she's already barking at the cows out back. She's a cool, smart lil pup. Very gamey already!!  No name picked out yet so feel free to give me any hints







they are second cousins lol their grand sire and grand dam were littermates

Waylon: there's a lot to it, we were always able to trace back to Dixie but after that we were in the dark. By talking to Lloyd and also buying his book I now know a whole lot more. We're able to trace back to the 50's. It's alot to write on this iPhone at work so I'll sit down and right up another thread about them this evening while I'm watching our Texans kick the number 2 out of those New Yorkers it's some very interesting stuff. I'm sure alot of people will realize that alot of the seperate lines out there all go back to the same dogs

Hahah i don't think she will be as ruff as June.. She dang sure fights with my other black gyp though, already working those hind legs I like her energy and focus already for such a young pup! I've been meaning to ask who the sire was and how he hunts, etc?! Mr perry gave me a good run down on how nice a hog dog Katie was!!

   Matt and Tony, the Dam is a real fine bone dog that hunts hard and is Super fast, quiet on track, awesome dog, but is real
 timid, gotta have a soft hand handling her.           

 The Sire is a puppy i raised from Heath Witorik , big Boned Ruff dog that is medium range, will hunt until you catch him
just like the Dam ,  no Quit.

     no one else is on ETHD site except Cward and i havent got his pup to him yet
