It takes massive amounts of energy to make a small amount of Hydrogen for an internal combustion engine car to run.

I agree, the problem with solar has always been figuring out an economical way to store produced energy... hydrogen is a good answer... the sun ain't gonna run out any time soon!

Using water as a fuel source is an even worse idea than using corn. At least nobody drinks oil. Mycodieselis the way to go!

....You smellin' what I'm smellin'.... Smells like money to me... Grin

Between solar and hydrogen technology... somebody's gonna figure out how to market this real quick and make a FORTUNE....

... I would really like to get into this...

The American public is ready to get off the crack pipe that is oil...  no offense oil workers... I don't think they'll be any sort of "instant" transition between the two energy sources...

BUT IT SHOULD ALLOW US TO AT LEAST STOP BUYING OIL FROM OVERSEAS....

It would be nice to find an alternate energy source but dont bet on the worlds dependance on oil going away while ANY of us are still alive.

The hydrogen fuel cells being pushed render hydrogen from gasoline. It is no solution at all. They admit less pollutants than internal combustion but like twice as much CO2. You know, the stuff the EPA and Barry O say is so bad for the environment. The whole "green" movement is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
