has anyone here ever skinned a animal with compressed air?

just watched a youtube video of it, kinda cool really

No, but have done the trailer hitch trick twice and didn't like the results. Any scar or cut the animal has messes up the trick

yes most the big meat packing places do this of coures by law they have to have special filters on the air out line to prevent any un wanted material getting exposed on the carcas  but it is fast and easy to do I have done it on deer a few times its better to rig up ur hose with a needle like device that u can poke just under the skin I like doing it at the hawk of the back leg seal tight and let it fill up like a balloon it wont release all the hide but most of it it wont tear meat or any thing there is also air knives that are awsome to use and fast

just talked to a buddy the other day who said you could do it to a gator.. guess im gonna have to hit up you tube.

I have heard of it but never tried it...I have been thinking now that you started this thread. I have a portable air pup that looks like a drill that I just might use for this. It is a craftsman from sears. I keep it for the four wheeler, comes in handy...

We used to do the same thing on goats and sheep with a water hose.....worked pretty good.
