Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Man this heat is getting to everybody. I'll have to just sweat before I put the jewels in that kind of danger. East Texas is as dry as I have ever seen it, went to my lease yesterday in the neches river bottom and sloughs that I thought never went dry are powder keg dry. It's so bad the briar vines are wilting and turning brown. Don't know how good the fawn crop is gonna be this year or the piglet crop for that matter.

I tell ya what man it is the worst I have seen it. I have always been ready to go hog doggin but here latly man I just cant seem to make myself get out there. It just almost aint worth it right now . I just know we gonna get on one of these bad running mad hogs in this heat at the wrong time of day cant get him stopped and they gonna take it to the limit and am gonna loose a dog over it . Thats my worry right now .

That sounds like something I would have come up with in my single days. Come on girls we are going hog hunting. Ok girls the first step is to take off all your clothes... My buddies and me would load up a cooler of beer to go rattle snake hunting. I woke up one time with some girl I did not know. I asked where I was and she said Arizona. Well we did not catch any snakes
