Timmy I would say the prognosis isn't good.  Is there drooping on one side of the face or one side that his legs don't work on?  Time is critical with any kind of stroke because, well, your bleeding in your brain which causes pressure and further brain damage but also can mean that a certain part of the brain isn't getting blood.  Sure hope it isnt a stroke and the dog heals up for you.

Matt one side of his face is droopy and he has stumbled several times. Other than that he acts normal eats and drinks. I noticed his lip drooping last week and took him out last night and he made a loop and come back and when he come by I noticed he almost fell. I hope he heals too.

I got a picture today of an old dog that has sufferedstroke one side of his face is droopy. Not sure ho w long he has been that way but he is just living out his retirement. I don't think you should get any hope about the dog recovering but he may be able to sre some pups ot be a good companion for someone.

The first (edit) "big white dog" I ever got had a stroke a couple of weeks ago.  It paralyzed its rear end and I had to put the dog down.  Hopefully yours makes some recovery.

Im not a vet but it appears to be a minor stroke at this point. Besides his loss of balance everything else appears to be normal.

Yes its Dan. All I can say is he earned a lifetime spot on the porch if he don't come around. I may see if I can get a couple litters out of him. It will sure be hard pulling out knowing he isn't in the truck.

No, he's going on 11 and still knucklehead.  He's finally slowing down some though.  This was Sooey.  She was really a cull, but became my parents house dog and helped my folks with the grandkids a lot.  I think my nieces and nephews miss her the most.

Hate to hear that about Dan Timmy....

Alan ( dogsnhogs84 ) had his bulldog stroke out the last time we took him hunting... he couldnt walk, was slobbering everywhere, throwing up everytime he drank, but seemed to recover after a few days...
We havent had him back in the woods yet since he is on the road now, but as far as around the house he seemed to have recovered fine... he never had good heat tolerance anyways...

I hope the best for Dan, keep us updated on him!!
