G'day all, got here 3.30 saturday and delivered BMC's to cousin. Tried them on a pig this morning we found out on the oat crop and they went great, one little female was the standout and bayed the sow under the tuck for about 30 minutes. I went out on daylight just behind the housewithout the curs and got two good boars. BMC's get first look at cattle this afternoon, staytuned. cheers Troy and Baden

went out again yesterday afternoon and got two sows, my old pigdog went miles to get them and we ended up jogging for about 1.5 hrs, I caught one of the largest sows I've ever got, if not the largest, it was hard taking the curs as they are not kangaroo proof yet so I just had the one female on a lead, she went well.

I really like that cattle crush dog he's a looker for sure. I never thought about the dogs trashing on a kangaroo. Probably wouldn't take long for a dog to break itself off em after getting boxed up by one of those suckers. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk

officially its winter but warming up for an early spring, about 26deg c not sure what that is in farehenheit, nice and warm, going out again this afternoon, pigs here are big but we hope to get some photos tomorrow.... kangaroos.....they kill more people than road accidents....... ......scared to think what they'll do to an expensive BMC....no not really just don't want them disappearing after roos all day..its something we are pretty hard on... cheers Troy and Baden

Troy,i am really enjoying your updates. I am a fellow aussie living now in the states where i manage the brewster ranch. I only hunt bmc's and your dogs are built just about the way i like one. As much as i love to run my bmc's on pigs over here my choice of dog for gathering brush cattle is a catahoula, just got me a pair of bobtail pups from a good line of cowboy dogs and have started them on some cattle twice. Keep the pics coming and good luck with the dogs.

Great pics.
Just curious here not trying to say anything, I just like to learn about different folks styles of hunting. But I noticed you guys aren't running any sort of cut gear on the dogs in these pics. Is that normal there? Do y'all ever run them with any? Hope i'm not coming off wrong i'm just curious.
