Posting up a reminder about the 2011 LSWDA Photo Contest because the deadline for contest entry is fast approaching!!! September 30,2011!! We have rec'd 69 entries so far and all of those can be seen in the new slide show on www.lswda.org/ main home page...CHECK IT OUT!!!! You can also submit a photo on that page as well. There will be 12 winners chosen for the 2012 LSWDA Working Dog Calendar that will be available for purchase through LSWDA by mid December 2011. Proceeds to help with our legislative fight in Austin. The 12 winners will receive a free 2012 LSWDA Working Dog Calendar and a 1 year membership into LSWDA as well as other prizes to be determined. Those winners will be announced November 1, 2011. If any of you have any pictures of your dogs working, please submit them!! You never know...it may be a WINNER!!! |

We need permission to publish - which is in the contest submit button. If the photos are yours but copyrighted by a photographer, we will need that photographer's name and, just to COA, will probably need the ok to publish from them as well. With so many hobby photographers with great cameras out there, we have already gotten some great ametuer shots. We are looking for working dogs doing what they love doing.

We have a total of 78 pictures entered in our Photo Contest for our 2012 LSWDA Working Dog Calendar!! Submissions from Alberta and Ontario, Canada to Austrailia!! It is amazing how far LSWDA has reached in its short existance!!! We must be doing something right!!!  Reminder....deadline for entries is September 30th!!! It is free to enter and your picture may be one of the 12 that we are looking for!!! |
