Go to the Coop or TSC and get you some ear mite drops and follow directions. Its will take a few days but should clear it up if its mites. You also might want to check for a tick down in the ear canal!

you can use a little ivomec in the ear canal and rub it in. Then give 1.5 cc of the ivomec per week for 3 weeks for a 50-60 pound dog, that is if your dog has been on heart prevention.

I've used regular ol' mineral oil many times for many ear problems, worked everytime, just massage it in deep inside, dog usually enjoys that.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but if the dogs are on a regular mnthly dose of ivomec shouldn't they be perty much immune to ear mites?  I had a round with them a few yrs ago, but I was slackin' on the ivomec regularity... not had any problems since

if the dog is sensitive to the touch of the ear i agree it might be a tick in there. i have had this and after i removed the tick she was still sensitive for a few more days?
