My wife and kids wanted breakfast tacos this morning. I ran to the taco place next to the gas station down the road. There was only one parking spot so I started driving past the pumps to park. So black Cadillac came around so I had to stop and let him pass to park. he stopped in front of me I thought to see if he could fit. I just waited. He pulled forward so I parked and got out to get tacos. I hear someone behind me with either an island or African accent saying "what were you saying?" I look back at this over weight guy that I guess works out because he was wearing one of those spandex shirts with no sleeves walking towards me. Me being the big chicken I am I started toward him to the back of my wife's car to figure out what in the world he was talking about. he starts in how I could have got past him. But he was blocking the only parking spot. I did not even argue. I just asked what he was mad about because nothing happened. He just kept on talking carzy and wlkinf towards me. So I just treated him like a crazy barking dog and stared back. I thought he had a heavy weight boxer's build (fat but some muscle under it) so I kept waiting for the hands to come up. After just a few exchanges I could tell he either could not fight or was a wrestler by watching his hands. I figured I had almost a foot on him and should have six inches of reach to hit him. He got to the oint that if he took another step I figured I would have to hit him hard because I did not want him getting a hand on me. But he stopped. I have no idea what he was saying. But he walked back to his car saying "that is what I thought." I think he was expecting me to be scared because he was big. I was just thinking I have slammed hogs bigger than him. But I went in and got the tacos. As I left there is an old Mexican man that sits on a bucket with his straw cowboy hat all the time. I guess he helps out around there. But he has never said anything to me before. He stopped me and said "that man was crazy I can't believe you weren't scared." Then the oriental lady came out of the cleaner to say she could not believe I was not scared of the big guy. Well besides in a bar I have only run into a crazy person that just hit me without talking. When he hit me I just stood up and he decided he did not want to fight any more. I did not hit hime back. Then this guy that was just full of hot air and I have no idea what happened. Well as I drove away I started to think maybe I needed to get a CHL. Then I remembered yesterday I had some guy give me a Bible out of the blue. So I figure instead of a CHL I will get a CHB Concealed Handout Bible. Then when somebody comes up talking crazy and I have no idea why they want to fight I can just bust out the Bible and start preaching. Then I will not let them leave without the Bible. They will go home and say they ran into the craziest person ever. They were ready to get in a fight and the crazy man pulled out a Bible and started saying crazy things. Then they took the Bible just to get away from the crazy man.  I guess I am one of the crazy people. |

Funny story! Im glad that you told us about what happened because I used to think that I was the only crazy person magnet!  I can deal with angry people but I have no idea how to deal with crazy people except to "out crazy them" Hahahahaha. |

Good for you Dub....and I like your idea about a CHB...that should defuse most crazy folks. No Dinah...you aren't the only 'crazy' person magnet...I'm in that boat too. After 24 years of firefighting/EMS work, I have had more than my share of encounters with the crazies of the world....with me, if there's not one at a call we go on....one will show up shortly...I can almost assure of that, and I'll be the one they come to...without fail.  |

Man I had a crazy show up at my house one night that was high as a kite on something. He was screaming and bitching my dog was going nutts etc. In hind sight should have pulled a gun on him and made him sit for the cops

Nope, that's what's wrong in this America, to many people wanna pull a gun. If it takes a gun to make you feel manly then I pitty you. And the KKK is just a gang for pansy whites to feel like there's safety in numbers. |

Don't pull out a gun unless you intend to shoot. Don't shoot unless you intend to kill. Don't pull out a gun unless you a ready to kill someone. Never ever say you have a gun. If you have one it just escalates the situation. If you don't have one they might and now they have a reason to kill you.

we have many convicts in our prison system who have killed for less. That in some places could have been nothing more than a gang blood in. Have to be careful in theses days. A life isn't much to some!
