Hello everyone i am new to the board so I thought I would introduce myself ,My name is Ray I have coon dogs and just got back into hog hunting with dogs I have two female cat dogs does anyone hunt the national forest around cleveland and do it on horse back . I really like the set up on yalls board it is great and I wish everyone good hunting

welcome aboard Ray, im in conroe, and coon huntin got me into dogs, bout 10 or 11 years ago then came hogs and the rest is history, been doin it for about 4 years

RL3,
Just hunted the SHNF horseback three times this past weekend, about 5 miles from Cleveland. Planning to make another hunt or two out there before the season ends. How often do you hunt out there?

Thanks for the warm welcome fellers I actually talked to one of your members Saturday I am not sure which one it was but I was in a white dodge one ton dually with a cat bitch in the back I talk to him at camp . I actually live about 5 minutes from the hunter camp I would like to go hunting every weekend but just getting into it I have to get some hunting buddies I really enjoy hunting any game with dogs I have 2 walkers ,1 bluetick for coon hunting a cat bitch and a cat pup about 3 months old that I am trying to hog hunt with I would appreciate any help or invites I have my own horses I can bring on a hunt I have a 4 wheeler but right now it is broke down again thanks I really enjoy the board

Thanks guys, I cant wait to hook up with ya! And make a hunt give me a call and we can get it going I am ready, I have been looking for some hunting buddies. Circle C are you or mike hunting the forest this weekend I dont want to intrude but I would really appreciate it. I have hunted those woods for about 12 years I know where some good creek bottoms are well hope to hear from ya soon

Ray, not sure about this weekend, but I might be able to slide a couple hours in before dark one evening. I know where a few hogs are close to the road.  |
