carried mine hunting with me in ninety five she aint been back.it takes a special woman to know and understand hog hunting usually to rough for most.there are some out there though if my 66 year old mama could still ride her horse she'd be right there with us lol.now my wife does deer hunt, and turkey hunt with me.overall they generally to kind hearted for hog hunting, again i say there is your exception.

Me and my husband have been hunting together for twenty years. He likes to hog hunt with dogs but I'm the one who is the addicted fanatic about it. Lol when we first met some of our dates were hog hunting with guns. We didn't start hunting with our own pack of dogs until about three or four years ago .... at my request.

she loves to hunt hogs with guns and isnt affraid to get dirty but when it comes to the dog part i think she gets to emotionally attached so thats why i think she should go on a hunt to see what its really like cause i dont have any dogs right now but have gone with others and its all i can think about

It's easy to get emotionally attached and she will no matter what. But I think that if she just went once and got to see the dogs work and see how much they love to do it she would feel differently. Grin

sometimes I let Thomas tag-a-long with me,  ;)but sometimes he gets too smart azz and I tell him he has to go hunt with his own dogs with his own friends. When he has been real nice I will let him hunt my dogs

Mine has been to a pin once... after seeing them work she told me if Willie or Marley (her two favorites) ever get hurt.... dont come home. She doesn't care for it much but she does take great care of my dogs. I was feeding, bathing, and watering yesterday, I turned around and she was clipping nails and cleaning ears without me asking.

My wife and I have been married just over 3 years, she first went with me while we were dating and loved it. She goes now just about every time I do, and 2 years ago my youngest step-daughter got started, she was a bit slow at first but now is wide open. My wife killed her first hog on about her third trip I guess it was, killed it with a knife and was ruined after that. My step-daughter just this last season killed her first one with a knife, she surprised the heck out of me, she just got caught up in the catch and let the air out of him before she knew it!  Shocked My wife feeds for me when I'm on duty and they both love the dogs like they were their own. They're actually getting kinda handy to have around.....both are doing dang good I say.

I'm scared to take my wife with me because somebody might  think she is  Bigfoot and start that crap of Bigfoot sightings again.

my wife does not hunt and I like it that way. She lets me take any kid that wants to go but she does not want to. I like my wife just the way she is Grin

if i go without mine she gets mad as all get out.  I like the fact she wants to go and gets excited about going, but the part i dont like is she wants to help too much.. she wants to handle the dogs, feed, and correct them.  I have to keep reminding her they are my dogs.  which gets a little annoying at times...

My wife would go if we had a baby sitter. Shes been a few times, before the girls got here. Shes a pretty good hand too. Helps take care of the dogs, and anything else. Wouldn't trade her for nothin. Cant wait to get the opportunity to bring the whole crew. My girls would love it.
