No it was between Rotan and Jayton on the Double Mountain Fork of The Brazos. That is still to this day my favorite place to hunt, game of all kinds and lots of it. That country around Childress is really good as well though, quite a few really big deer come out of there every year.

K talk to a rancher that has 8k n leasin 4 of it n said some guys outta houston had it but it was north of childress 15 miles reasonable too 6.50 acre

Yeah all my cousins still my old place so if I ever want to get back on I can but it got too expensive, 3-4K a year total cost was eating my lunch. I got free deer hunting on several places now so I just go that route and don't worry about the big bucks as much anymore.
