Hogs were not moving tonight, but the bobcats were out. My curs had been hunting hard for about 3 hrs with no sighn of a hog. My yound red leppard dog Flash took a track and in a few minutes made a few barks and was joined by the other to curs and they were treeded, I was a little miffed and went in to kick some butt for running a 'coon but is was a big tom bobcat,bobcats are not trash in my book, I was excited. looks like the wife is going to get a new fur hat for next winter.

 That is a good pic. silverton . I have coon dogs and every once in a while we will get on a bobcat and it is useally a long race but it sure sounds good in those woods one nite we ran run for 6 hours before treeing it .Good luck hunting

Thats the difference between hounds and Curs. Just my opinion.

Nice cat Paul.  Heck, he could be a twin to this Okie cat I trapped a few weeks ago.  I've got 11 cats trapped so far this year.  My dogs haven't treed one for me yet, though.  Dangit!!
