Welcome aboard cuzzz, I guess having an eye for good lookin yella dogs that can put pork in the truck must run in the family lol, definitely going to be some nice pups, I know that Cutter and Molly were not out of Eltons line of yella dogs, but  they were good dogs or they wouldn't have been on his yard, I know YBM hunted behind them some, maybe he can tell us a little about them. He bred the litter to add some more grit to his pack, Kate for sure has a good dose of it, but she uses her brain and gets rough when she should and that's why I have always liked her. As for Concho, if you were to draw out his pedigree, it is stacked and packed with jam up hog dogs, he is a grandson of YBM's old male dogs Trooper and Gunner, you have some foundation Alton Conn blood in there bred over the Hearst line from Nacogdoches coming from Strike Dog Kennels Ten Dollar, and last but not least, the part that YBM wishes I would have left out lol, good ole East TX brindle cur coming down from SDK's Woodrow who was one of the best dogs around in his day, more than a few people that hunted behind him all told me the same. Wanted to give you guys that are big on genetics a little more info on 2K's pack, hope it was helpful. Yall take it easy, Britt

Hey Britt did elton have that cutter dog about 5 yrs ago? I think that's the dog he was using for a catch dog I may be wrong but he would almost have to be 7, if so he was the real deal.

That's him Coal, I think Cutter and Molly are both  gone now, but Elton always spoke well of the dog and I know he caught no tellin how many hogs with him, they said he had just as much hunt as he did catch when he would put him on the ground. FYI Concho's, mom is a littermate to ole Super if you hadn't already figured it out.

Keep em Straight and Keep em Yeller

Sorry Kade musta missed this post.  Cutter and Molly were both the real deal I have been many a mile behind both. Neither were out of Eltons old line. He picked them up along the way somewhere. Cutter was nearly straight catch but would hunt to boot and was a light faced Yeller.  Molly was a sure nuff long range Yeller cur dog with a deep black mask. Tried and tried to talk her off Elton but he was smart and kept her till she died a few years back. I believe he still had some pups out of her working. Ten Dollar you can get with Chance or Britt they know her background. As for her hunting and baying not many better ones out there and a hell of a good producing gyp. Trooper was my old stud dog that half my young stuff is out of or crossed over too. Trooper goes back to to my old rooter and kitty dogs that were out of my old stock from bout fifteen plus years back. I will ask Elton who Molly came from and if he knows her background. Let's see some more angles on your Yeller stuff when you get time bud.

See ya.
