Well the cool snap had all of us fired up and ready to go. So we gave several of our new pups a taste of the big woods last night. A few buddies Strikedogkennel and Ironheadkennel brought a few of their dogs as well. We made a good round in a dried creek bottom but not a bit of sign. We went and checked another good mud hole again with no sign. We were gonna pick up and move across the lease but I figured I would send an old dog with my two leggy pups up a logging road next to another dry creek. They went in abou ;Dt 400 yrds and picked up a trail in a pine thicket..yep even the two youngsters which blew me away on their first big boy hunt. They took it on down into a bottom and rallied several hogs.  The buddies heard the commotion and dumped the box.  By the time we got there they had stretched a lil sow 12 different ways. Went ahead and stuck her and found she was marked.  Wink knew we recognized her from somewhere.  Grin

We wrapped up and throwed out strikedogs ole male out and continued to trail another several miles into another bottom and pulled him around 1 am so we could make it into work. So long story short the pups got another great working and are holding their own so far.

Always a good time with ya Lamar. Hoping this cold weather and different work schedule we are gonna get back up to speed.

Kade

Do you have any pics of Moose?  Think he is littermate to my Lobo dog and North CedarCreekRanch Belle gyp. Both of your two dogs above are also related. They look sharp. When you gonna get away from the little girlfriend and make a round with us? Grin
