You're obsessed with this movie buddy  Cheesy

Scene 1 has to top em all, but with a movie like that, just one scene will beat any other whole movie in the world, Period.

This is all DJ's fault.  She started making people watch the "old" movie.   Grin

I finaly watched and enjoyed "how the west was won" and I have Lonesome Dove 1 and 2 on DVR. I guess I need to stay up late this weekend.... but 3 hrs is a kinda long time to watch a movie. Will it hold my interest?

Grin   ....I will gladly take the blame. They just don't make good movies any more. But thank God we can still watch the old ones!

One of my most favorite simple moments in the movie when Capt Call speaks over Deets after he dies.

"Josh Deets....Served with me 30 years. Fought in 21 engagements with the Comanche and the Kiowa. Cheerful in all weathers. Never sherked a task. Splendid behavior."
