I use the horse wormer Zimecterin or any off brand of the same because it has 1.87% active ingredient but the pig wormers have 1% or less. I do this for economy reasons I just give about half as much for the same strength.

use zimectrin gold on anything over 12 weeks and it is really good all around wormer, just worm once a month and you should be fine.

You are better off using the oral horse wormer. A very good vet buddy of mine warned me years ago not to rely on the injectable wormers. Told me he was seeing a good many heartworm cases in dogs that had been given the injectable their entire life. He recommended using Promecterin, an oral ivermecterin for horses that the vets sale. A lot cheaper, I'm giving around $30 for 100mm. At a dosage for 1/2 mm per 60 lbs.
