All you can handle is my theory, helps if you have about 6 solid broke check dogs and 9 pups from the same litter all with tritronics on just in case, carry a Mayrath hot shot and a good leather quirt and hunt them with a fence jumping mule, you will catch more hogs, get hardly any cut up and dont hunt with catch dogs, of course if you are living on a large ranch with tons of hogs it helps as well, usually most hunt with 3 to 5 dogs depending, lots of guys used to truck hunt with 2 or 3 down in front of the truck and hold the rest back in the dog box until they struck and then dump in everything else in the truck, lots of guys hunt with one strike dog and lead 2 pit bulls, lots hunt with 3 or 4 bay dogs, bobcat hunters hunt 15 in heavy brush, all depends, when was still living on the ranch i used to let my 20 dog rat terrier kennel out and cruize the creekbank and all the ranch tanks and make a drag thru the heavy brush, everything they found got crunched, treed or bayed up, all you had to do was listen, they would find something to make noise on, was not uncomon to tree coons, shoot them out, keep going, tree grey fox and them on way back by a tank jump some hogs and have them bayed up or caught, 20 dogs make sweet music on a bayed up hog backed up to a oak tree or swimming around ina dirt tanklol

Depends on the dogs and where you are hunting.
