I dunno but I use a 21 volt belt light. I like to see where I'm walking and what I'm running in on before I'm to.close to back out.

I just bought a head lamp but I also and prior to care a LED Black & Decker spot light (real bright). I came to the conclusion the bright light was pushing the hogs and they would break seeing the light coming thru the woods so I now use the head lamp until I'm right up on the bay then bust out the spot light..you can get the LED spot light at Walmart..it is surprising bright and uses 4 C batteries..just tie a thick string thru the handle and hang it off your shoulder until you need it..

I put a clip on light on my hat. but to be honest it is mainly so I can find my hat after a branch knocks it off. I wear thick pant, a thick shirt, and don't really care what I run through. But after seing that hard hat I would like a bump hat with a light. Maybe hang some thick cloth to stop the briars from falling down my shirt ![Grin](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I know there was just a thread on the best lights. I do not want too bright of a light it blinds you to what is not in the light. I like to see what is going on not just one spot. But a decent light on a bump helmet may prevent a few head aches ![](http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

I for one have been using one of those cheap headband lights and after the other night i will be getting a better headlight. I was trying to hurry to the bay and the cheap light was not bright enough to see where i was going at a run. Mike had a kelly light and that thang was bright fo sho.

I think that if the light is to bright, it blinds me to much n the energizer head lamps from walmart are even to bright with fresh batteries in them. Iv burned my eyes welding a couple times n my eyes r to sensitive to bright lights n im use to workn nights so my eyes stay adjustd to the dark n the red light on them head lamps work great n wont alert the game either. Jmo. I pair of nods is the nxt purchase, which will elimnate the need for a light till i get to the pig

Black Diamond makes quality lights as well. They aren't near as bright as one of those "miners lamps", but it gets the job done nicely.

you just have to be wary of the fact that while you are shining that bright light into a bay or catch you are actually blinding your dogs and that results in potentionaly getting your dogs hurt . don't believe me just shine one in your eyes and see how long it is till you can see again. thats why i prefer a regular ol dull light .

Ive got a 28 v bright eyes belt light. But Im leaning towards a new led head, like the k-light. My buddy's got one and I liked it. Tri-tronics is coming out with a new led cordless head thats mounted to a cap in Nov. Its rechargeable and looks pretty sweet.

I have a 21 volt K Lite and a lazer torch 2. I like them both! I also use my lights with a bump cap to keep brush from dragging them off of my head!
