I got 21v bright eyes an I like it , I can turn it down real low or turn it up bright if I wanna see far

I have a 21 volt K Lite and a lazer torch 2. I like them both! I also use my lights with a bump cap to keep brush from dragging them off of my head!
JohnBrown what are the pro's and con's from these 2 lights as far as brightness, battery life? and I don't care for some of those blue lights from the led lights... What is the price and the bulk difference? Thx |

The Klite is a little brighter than the lazer torch but not much. What I also like about the k lite is you can adjust it down real dim, as to where the lazer torch on has high and low. My lazer torch holds battery life way longer than the klite. The torch also is all attached to the bump cap and leaves belt room for my knife and my pistol. I have retierd my k lite since I bought the lazer torch. I am very pleased with both lights. As far as either of them being to bight to hog hunt with I have never had that problem.(jmo) All I have ever hunted with is old coonhunting lights such as klite,nitelite,and coonbusters. I know I love my lazer torch and I will not go back to belt lights.  |

Oh yeah the laser torch is led but it throws off a white light. The torch is also cheaper.

I use as little light as possible until the pig is caught. And even then I might not turn one on. I know it pushes pigs hard and will break the bay a lot. only bad thing I've experienced with not using lights is I crawled all the way to a bay with no lights and legged the hog. Once my buddy got there and stuck it i started to feel stinging all over. They turned on the lights and I was covered in yellow jackets. Not a fun ending but hey I Ddnt break the bay  If you are going to use one I recommend a small led made by brinkman. Takes the 123 batteries is light and as bright as my surfire for a 1/4 of the price |

I am surprised that no one on ETHD's have said anything about near misses with the african bees. |

Ive got in the yellow jackets plenty of times, if I start hearing buzzing, or that distinctive pinging on my light, im out of there.
I read the other day where the African bees were more aggressive this year. Swarmed a 2,000 lb boar hog and killed it. "Tame, not hogzilla"
Anyway about the lights. I tried the bump caps, sweated me to death, the moisture cant escape and runs back down, and will drowned you. I am seriously considering an led light, just not sure which one to get. Might wait and see how this tri-tronics light works.

x2 on the bump caps.. I do not like the white light or the blue looking led lights...I reckon you can call me old school. I want to see a led light with the whitish yellow light like a regular flashlight puts out... |

22 ounces. including bump cap.
well balanced too!
12 high 30 low bright tight spot. also has a strobe. just in case.
good for 500 charges. thats alot of batteries

You don't have to use a bump hat,they make soft baseball caps for the miner lights they work good...

i got a soft cap from nite lite and it fit real snug and the light lasted a good while, ima have to get it out of storage to use it more

Lights on bees fly. Lights off and bees crawl. Killer bees or any bee run into the wind and hit every branch you pass. Some bees will go for the movement of the branch because they see movement more than objects. But just keep running until there are no more bees flying. At night turn the light off and run a short way and then start knoking the bees off while you walk so they don't crawl on you again. Killer bees would have already stung you. Do not brush the bees off with your hands. The stingers in your clothes will get your hand. There are bee hormones they put on you to mark you as a target to you may want to dump the clothes with bee hormones and stingers to pick up later.

i use the new stream light hydro its got two setting bright an a high beam that leaves u blind! haha wuts even better is my work buys them for us an battiery that are 4 dollars ea nothing bets free |
