Well.....lookin' good so far. Grin How long do you think the handle should be? I would think that your accuracy would suffer if it was too long and it would be too heavy as well. Seems like the ones I made when I was younger had about a 5 foot handle.

What in the world is the air thing for? Are you putting tires on it?

That is the cheesiest spear I ever did done seen. You can't get no pig with that. (I know you just started on it. Just throwning a little coal on your fire.)

Well back at it again playing with some ideas but here is a real rough piece.  Starting to think it is going to be a hair heavy going to have to trim some weight in wood and metal head both but it sure stabed a tree and stuck lol.

I love where ya'lls heads are at! Taken it back to the old school! I would love to take anything with a spear... prolly start trying my aim on Coons and rabbits. LOL! Good luck guys!

I've used a pole vaulting pole for a tongue on a racing wagon and it held up forever. Took lots of force and was light. You might want to try and find one of those for your handle.  Just a thought

My buddy got the one from cold steel we snuck up and speared a hog never seen anything cut through a hog that easy
