cat x lacy or cat x bmc? (videos added)

im looking for a do all dog, some pig hunting, but mainly coyote. im wanting a real gritty dog, who will bay when needed, but not scared to jump in a grab a throat, dont want a big clumsy dog either, i need one with stamina but with grit and fight as well....any thought or opinions are appreciated, i know this is the hog hunting forum, but figured someone would be able to provide some input. thanks in advance!

  You can not use curs on yotes and but you can use running hounds on hogs and yotes, yotes are one of the hardest running game to try to catch, they run 5 miles to 30 easy and switch off sometimes as well,  if somebody tells you different post the video of a pack of curs striking jumping and running to ground a yote and the hanging tree where they tied him from,

haha i should of specified, i agree with you but i dont run coyotes. I use a decoy dog.....i go out and call and the dog does most of the work, bringing the coyote or coyotes in.  after the shot if wounded i want a tough as nails dog who will bay and dispatch if needed....ill try and post a video of what im talking about, more of a trapline lype dog is what im looking for with grit, and brains to get the job done.

Please post a video if you have one. I'd love to see that. I haven't heard of anyone hunting yotes that way, but it sounds interesting.

Here is my thoughts but if you want something with enough grit to latch ahold of a yote I would go with something like 1/4 bulldog ,pit etc 1/4 grey hound or stag 1/2 lacy or just cur.  Theoretically brawn speed and brains.  I know a lot of cur dogs will get a yote but seems they are the exceptions.

 I wouldnt count out labs. My old female hates a yote. Killed a few in snares and use to love to go calling with me. When the hair on her neck stood up, it was game time.
 You arent going to find the end to all dog by mixing up %. Get a dog and try it out. Keep going till you find what you want. I would start at the pound.

I'll post a video tomorrow. I have 1 decoy dog I use now, he's 1/2 cat 1/2 Australian shep. He's gritty and smart but he needs a buddy and I want to choose the mix up for this one. I have a buddy who uses a cat x bmc x pit as well

You don't want too much size to intimidate the yote that is why I said just 1/4 stag because of the size but even a decent hit yote will haul sometimes so speed is/would be nice.

I went and watched those videos, somebody needs to take  tons and tons of target practice for sure, I dont get it, that not what i would ever be interested in for sure, you prob be better off with a smarter  and smaller dog like a rat terrier to try to use them for bait but i would not sell one of mine for it, I notice you have pups for sale on your site, why dont you use those pups you are selling to others yourself or are you out of dogs??? I woul d rather sit still longer and get them in close enuff to shoot with a 22 mag,  with as much rabies yotes carry they are not in my want to have my dog getting bitten by several on purpose because i wounded the target, you would be better off with a game bred pit bull terrier in my view if you letting them on wounded yotes, why dont you just use live chickens or turkeys for bait instead of good dogs???  In case you miss you could at least eat the mistake??LOL

Lol those aren't my dogs and I'm not the one who made the video. Thats just what I was referring to on the grit for a trap line dog. Similar to how the Texas blue lacy was used. The first video depicts how and what a decoy dog does.
