I got a 6 month old gyp out of White Deer Jeff Plott x White Deer Samba Plott, she come off Joe Burketts yard, she is a good acting pup,and well sociollized. Going to coonhunt her hard this fall and winter,I have not put her on any game yet but she is very gritty. The litter she come out of were all good acting pups and not stand offish, but looked at a litter that was,it would be hard to handle that many pups. Joe is a good breeder, and has some for real hounds, they may be high but you get what you pay for...

I got four that all have to do with Joe. He breeds dogs to hunt. Bought one 2 year old from him she was a handful for a while.

I have a pup by Joe Plott and out of Nala Plott. She is just two months but I have seen amazing things from some of their other litter. I am hoping that these plotts hunt like yall's do. They sure seem to have the drive. Thanks for sharing all your wisdom.

Just met up with Joe Burkett on Saturday. I picked up my gyp pup by Joe Plott and out of Nala Plott-2 months. I really like her. She has very fine features but is one gritty pup. She already has several permanent scars. I have a male by Dollins Hicks and out of Coconut Plott and he is much bigger with more of the hound look. I did not hunt a dog, but I went along for the UKC nite coon hunt. Had a great time and got to see a bunch of those White Deer Plotts work.

Hey TomTom, The Hunt was in Haper. We met up at Joe's place and called the casts and broke off from there. My first time on a true UKC regulated nite hunt. I will have to read the rule book a few times, but I sure had a blast! It was with the Hill Country Coon Hunters Association. If anyone ever wants to coon or hog hunt in Central Texas, give me a holler!

Yeah, it is getting really hard to find folks that will let you hunt with dogs in that area. Full of deer though! If fact, I hit a 8 point and barely missed about 50 others.

I would like to know more about this Joe plott. Sounds like he throws some fast pups. I might be interested in the right gyp from this dog to cross with my Pete dog.
