Richard,

I went deer hunting in Seymour this past year. Ran into one of the hog buyers there in town.... He told me the hogs in that county cannot be caught with dogs, said they will kill every dog you have.    If you do happen to hunt the place, I would like to give you his address, so that you can show him the hogs once they are dog caught... Maybe let him know that he just needs some better dogs Grin then he could catch the hogs up there....  He also says the hogs there, will reach around and bite you when you leg them... This dude is a quack....

I live about 30 min from seymour in throckmorton.  If you go I'd be more than happy to go with you and help or take any of my dogs.  Who was the man and I might be able to tell you about the country a little better.  If I can help pm me or give me a call at 817-559-7318.
Thanks,
Ross

Just picked up a 5K place in Benjamin - about 30 min away.  Dry, dry and dry......plenty of hogs though.  Let me know if you need help or just want someone to go along with you.

Hey Richard looks like only two of the pups will make it.  Also,  I have a trip planned in the near future in that area.

It is about 2k acreas as well.

Might be the same place.

Alot of monster hogs in that country a friend of mine killed a boar that was around 500 or so in seymour. Hunt around water and you will tear em up. Good luck.
