Ours will kill varmints while hunting (mostly our catch dogs do it when they r out front of bikes waiting on bay). Think it's the anticipation. We rarely see them do it. We eventually come up on dead critters in the road. As long as they don't bark at it or carry on tok long we don't care. They do not mess with cows or deer at all for any reason. We have rode up on them staring into the grass at a baby fawn on more than 1 occasion. They went on n left fawn alone.
