I have to agree. As long as they don't bark it.  No cows or deer at all ever but coons n dillos o well.  Possum too. Lil varmints have a way of being n wrong place at wrong time. No barking though so we don't have a problem with it.

Or chasing it. I don't want the dog wasting my time. I guess if they kill the skunk quick that don't count right? I have seen some real good skunk dogs. I will not talk smack or mine will get them too.

 This is a little off topic. But with all that has been said... I would also like to point out that our best dog, that is everything I want in a hog dog and produces hogs regular....is a skunk trashing son of a gun.  Grin Wouldn't trade him for nothin though.

 I got a dog that used to kill every skunk he could but never bark , but now he hates dillos but kills them an keep on hunting ,

they should only bark and chase hogs..thats all our dogs are used for.. everything else is trash.. no matter what

Just for the record, none of my dogs are 100% trash broke. But if they run, Chase, or catch anything other than intended game, they are trashing.  Grin
