I have to agree. As long as they don't bark it. No cows or deer at all ever but coons n dillos o well. Possum too. Lil varmints have a way of being n wrong place at wrong time. No barking though so we don't have a problem with it.

Or chasing it. I don't want the dog wasting my time. I guess if they kill the skunk quick that don't count right? I have seen some real good skunk dogs. I will not talk smack or mine will get them too.

This is a little off topic. But with all that has been said... I would also like to point out that our best dog, that is everything I want in a hog dog and produces hogs regular....is a skunk trashing son of a gun.  Wouldn't trade him for nothin though. |

Just for the record, none of my dogs are 100% trash broke. But if they run, Chase, or catch anything other than intended game, they are trashing. |

The best hog dogs will trash on nutria rats in the marshes of south Louisiana. They must have a scent close to a hog.
