How do u tie a pig for a mock hunt jus want to trun it lose so it gets hung up we have tryed it but the rope came off an lost the pig

I'd go on the back leg above the hock. Go around 2 or 3 times then tie a square knot and then black tape over the top of it.

HAHAHA... sounds like a hunt I made with sfboarhunter!!!  Grin Grin Grin

I like a half hitch cinch knot just above the rear ankle(one leg) with about 4' of slack tie'd to the base of a small tree... give's the hog room to move/back dogs off

Tie a really good know above the hock with about 50 ft.  of rope with a 4 way tire tool tied to the end of it. turn it towards a thick draw and it will get hung up. Then pups can run it down that way. Of course the pig can't be too big though.

we just tie some 2x4s up to its legs and let it run, it wont run far and not fast at all

i like to to a rope to there back leg about 30 ft and put a drag on it train pups that way

Couple half hitches over the hock on one back leg with a long piece of rope.  Drag it from where you want to start and tie it off to the base of a tree. the longer the rope the more room the hog has to back the dogs off and make them work.
