Went to our deer lease that has alot of river bottom. Rode around and looked for some fresh sign and dropped the dogs a few times but never struck anything. Then after lunch we went to a different part of the pasture. We went into a old clear cut and the dogs started acting like they winded one so we turned them loose. One of my puppies tore out and caught a shoat and two of the older dogs caught a nice sow about 150 lbs. we caught both of them and turned em loose. the dogs rolled out and bayed up again we walked to them and found them bayed on a nice boar on the other side of a big creek. so i left my cell phone on the bank and took a swim.. when i got to the other side the hog swam back to the other side  Angry . so i swam back and the dogs caught him. we got him flipped and cut him and turned him loose. called all the dogs back to the fourwheeler and loaded them up. went to another trail that was pretty close to the river. we turned them loose and started roading them when they shot off into the woods. it wasn't but a second and they had one stretched out. got in there and caught and turned her loose and found that the other dogs had killed 3 pigs beside her. So we turned her loose and the dogs rolled out and bayed up again. then they broke and we walked up to them and found them bayed on a spotted boar on the edge of the river. we spooked the hog and he took off swimming. Only one dog went after him and the other one got tangled up in some logs and was struggling to keep his head above the water. So we had to swim out and grab him and drag him back to the bank. Then we went and got a boat to cross the river with my big cur dog. we turned him loose and he went in and caught. so we cut the hog and headed back to our side of the river. caught 9 in all and i got soaked 3 times. so all in all it was a pretty good hunt... was real proud of the dogs

That orange and black hog will be a sure nuff trophy when he grows up to be a big ol barr.  I have always wanted to catch a big toothy hog that color.
