Me: The weather is nice today.

You: You know, those weather people suck. They can't predict anything. Where do they get off taking time out of my news program trying to tell me what the weather may or may not be. Back in my day we looked at the sky to tell what the weather is doing blah blah

Huh???

That's me off on a tangent about them going off on a tangent.

The problem is the gov. An we all agree? The solution, utilise our rights, remove them n elect a new 1. Now noah, the real braistorming begins. How do we get the old gov out, and the new gov in? Now for the weather here. Sun is rising above the mnts, slight bit of cool in the air with the local town burnin somethn, n its sprinklin soot. Now lets turn it ovr to ur local sports network.

Also, I kinda grew up with this bs. I havnt had the chance to experiance better in my short life. The way I've thought about it is, at least it not more condos, and houses, and malls. I am just happy its not getting developed. So I guess I do have rose glasses on.

Noah, don't know what to call the post but I think its gunna get a little bigger than swiftmud

I grew up round this topic too. Always thought my dad was crazy. Bout 10yrs ago, i pulld my head out of my 3rd point of contact, cleard my nostrils n eyes n smelld the real poo the gov is spilln out n seen it first hand. Still seein it now, especialy in afghanistan. I guess if folks want to be a sheep led to slaughtr, then thats on them. Im not, im gona fight back n take a piece of them with me

That's why the only public land I hunt is the St. Johns River. In my 20 plus years of hunting there I never had a problem.  I use to hunt Tosohatchee every year. You would run into other peoples dogs occasionally but not to much. That's to be expected on public land.

If you are gonna hunt the public land hunts you come to expect. If you don't want people showing up at your bays claiming caught hogs then don't go. A lot of the people that go that is the best/only place they have to hunt.

They problem with Fl is there is no unified front for dog hunters. The Central Fl dog hunters association can't keep there website calender updated, let alone keep up with state issues.

For example. There is an organization called United Waterfowlers of Florida. We have a couple hundred members scattered everywhere. Every public water management district meeting in the state, someone is there. Every public state meeting involving hunting, someone is there. At every water management land meeting we are the only hunting organization represented. There is no dog hunting groups, there are no deer hunting groups, there are no turkey hunting groups. However there is usually 2-3 anti hunting groups. Who do you think has the advantage?

Besides what B.S. hog hunts we get on wmd, Guess the only other hunting allowed on Water district lands? Duck Hunting! That is not a coincidence. We chip away and chip away, year after year and get results!

You have to be willing to fight in the political game...The anti's do and they are winning.

A person shouldnt hav to choose to hunt or not because there are low life a-holes who dont hav consideration for other or the other person's dogs. Its those types of people who shouldnt go huntn. Sayin if u dont like the possibility of havin ur dogs/hogs stolen then dont go is about as dumb as saying just desl with it. Its calld piss poor hunter ethics n no1 should hav to just deal with it or sit at hm. People got some jacked up veiws for huntn public land. Just bc they r gq public person #1, dont mean they r the only perdon that matters. Iv huntd public land for nearly 15yrs n wont stay hm or deal with it just so the rest who aint got no honor can continue to bully n push there way n scare the rest off for their personal gain.

I realy dont undrstand the thinkn that if u dont want ur dogs stolen then u should stay hm. Havin ur dogs stolen bc u want to hunt aint just dealn with it, its BULLCHIT. If a person thinks that way bout anothr suposed fellow hunter show no morals or respect, especialy if its on public land. The land should be free range, not ur dogs. Today more n more huntrs r lookn for the easy n free road, riding on the sucess of other and dragin the honest down to to the trash level with bad publicity, where the general public views ALL hunters as bad. If u thnk anu1 ought to stay hm or deal with it, then ur no better than the criminals stealn dogs, gear or just ur common hm burgler
