I am not sure about Texas, but down here in Fl shirts with hogs on them sell like hot cakes...I know I have funded someone's bank account for a while Grin but I have some great pictures that my husband's buddy is working on putting to 'ink'.

So my question is, how many of you would be interested in HIGH QUALITY / AMERICAN MADE shirts, visors, caps, sweaters, etc.?

I am going for the 'working dog' kind of shirt, not some snarling dog with his tail tucked or some rediculous looking hog with slobber dripping off his teeth or anything with a Rebel Flag....just some well illustrated t-shirts / art geared toward working dogs at a reasonable price.

(true story)
A few years back when the 'Salt Life' and 'Marsh Life' stickerss came out I made a joke to my husband we should do one for 'Hog Life' but I personally thought is was too corny / over the top....well guess what lol someone has coined the phrase and logo /stickers  Shocked so now I am going for something else and this time I ain't telling no body until it comes full circle lol but until then I wanted to toss out the 'appparel' thing to see if anyone would be interested.

If only I had ran with it when we were joking around  Cheesy those guys have a 'Hog Life Magazine', their first issue just came out and I thought they did a good job....they appear to be from the Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area recently transplanted  to 'Our Side' of the lake (I only know this because I drooled over the cabin they bought, which is literally accross the road from our hunting spot) and based on their business area code.

I think we have some pretty solid stuff to work with and if it takes off like I am *hoping* it does there will most definately be more to come and it will be geared towards the dogs (sometimes they don't get the credit they deserve) as much as the hogs.

I will keep ya'll updated, maybe we will have some stuff for Christmas.

stickers and shirts-especially short sleeve- count me in.  You make a pearl snap shirt with a good hog or dog picture on it and we can do business for sure.

That'd be cool, there are no shirts I like in hog hunter mag.

Have you seen the shirts they have at that store in okeechobee? I forget the name, but I like the shirts.

That picture you took of the hog bayed up on the edge of a canal would make a good shirt.

Maybe some gator hunting shirts never seen one of those.

how bout some nice scenes of a marsh with a big old cypress head, or a hog bayed down a clean Orange grove row, fat oranges covering every tree, a big buck hopping off flagging in the backround.

Oh yeah you said photos into ink, you better get started trying to capture these images in my head.

Good luck, if it blows up like guy Harvey or salt life you're set.
Let me know if I can help, I want in. Grin

If you don't mind me making a suggestion... here is a link to a shirt that we used for our oilfield business to make T-Shirts with our logo on it. It's the finest T-shirt I've ever owned. They're light, strong and extremely comfortable. Cotton/polyester. I've got a few that I swap out so ime wearing one almost everyday. That Smokey Branch camo is by far my favorite pattern.

http://www.rothco.com/general/index.cfm/Rothco/Smokey-Branch-Camo-T-Shirt/fuseaction/itemdetail/item/1137/subcat/50/prodid/95/from/left

As far as what's printed on the shirt. I'd like to have a shirt with a scene of a hog with a couple dogs on each side of it. Don't go into much detail, just the outline of the hog and dogs in white. Nothing that can really even identify what kind of dog it is but mostly resembling a cur or hound. I would be all over something like that.

maybe try dogs in the water with a caught hog..or dogs diving in to catch.. ive seen a bunch of shirts with dogs baying. and its cool. but everybody likes it when the dogs are caught out. i know i do..

i got sum ideas if u need sum.. i thought about making sum shirts before. and window stickers before.. just never got around to doing it.

I don't mind a real rebel FLAG, but putting it on every piece of clothing you have is kind of ridiculous. IMO
