stickers and shirts-especially short sleeve- count me in. You make a pearl snap shirt with a good hog or dog picture on it and we can do business for sure.
X2. Take tally of how many would want the confederate flag n place an order when the minimum order amount is reached. I wouldnt hold a grudge if it had the flag.

I am super excited, here is an ‘example’ of one of the sketches: I am up for all suggestions, this will give me a reason to get a new puter, photo shop and a bad a** camera! I am hoping the shirts having pockets and our friend is wanting collared / polo shirts so pearl snaps are probably do-able! I love a hoodie, that was always my addiction in school was sweaters (and shoes). I will take any and all suggestions, I haven’t really seen much with boats or frogs / gators so that may be my next venture to see if I can get some cool shots! I have tons of things floating around in my head but I am not talented enough to draw them out lol I would like to get some cow dog pictures too. I am not looking to make some kind of crazy killing off of it, although going Guy Harvey style would be pretty dang amazing! I want to focus more on quality American made apparel to keep ‘our’ people working instead of some sweat shop youngin’ so they may cost a little more but in the long run I think it will be worth it (I book marked your link for the Smoky Branch Camo Shirts Neches, everyone loves a good camo shirt!). I have some b/a collared work shirts that are stain proof and wrinkle resistant – I have never owned a better shirt! JDJP, I think you are talking about the Hunter’s Den and my husband is a frequent shopper lol we have several of their shirts hanging in our closet! The picture in the ditch is my absolute favorite and I am hoping like crazy it turns out good. I like the idea of the orange grove, I will have to mention it to our friend and see what he can do and I have a really gorgeous picture of a cypress head that I think would make a great color print. SCHitemhard, I will send you a PM cause I think I am going to need to talk to someone about colored prints and maybe graphic design? I keep hoping there is an ‘easy’ way to just scan these pictures in and they magically come out as sketches lol cause there is going to be a lot of hunting time spent drawing (I have my whip out now – j/k). T.Willbanks, you didn’t get the memo?? We ARE a yankee State 7 months out of the year! Most of the ‘true’ Floridians are about bred out lol but there are a few of us that just don’t ask past a 4th cousin whether or not we are related cause almost everyone I know I am related to one way or another! There is nothing ‘wrong’ with a Rebel Flag or having it on clothing, I just associate it with some of the hoodlums that sport it for the ‘wrong’ reasons which is the exact reason why kids cannot wear them in school and why I get a dirty look whenever I put one on and wear it to town without thinking twice about it, but like John said they have a magazine full already available but I can work it in there if that is what some of you are interested in. Muddoger, I like it when they are caught as well. The store that JDJP was talking about has one of a hog tossing a dog out of a palmetto head and it is what I am wanting to do, a more realistic line of shirts derived from real situations / photos. Once I get a few more pictures and a firm pricing chart since orders are based off of quantity so the more I have ordered the better the prices will be for everyone….especially since it is just starting out I want to make sure those here are ‘taken care of’ and my husband mentioned maybe giving out shirts for advertisement with a website or something on it….so much to be figured out but you guys really have us all motivated now!

i like somethin like this, you can always build off this I would take a couple them on a hoodie, short n long sleeve n a regular blue denum peral snap. Take the picture with an extremely high res camera n most screen print shops can make it. I had shirts made from a drawin a guy did n took a pic of it n the print shop made them off the pics. Again higher the resalution, the better quality the print be

Yeah the hunters den, I like that shirt you described.
I keep picturing a scene where the bottom half is under water with a big gator hanging with just its eyes out of the water looking towards the bank, and the top is a Florida river bank with a hog bayed. Also maybe some vintage looking scene like a picture out of a land remembered.
Someone posted up a drawing of guys on horses driving cattle and a couple dogs out in front chasing a boar hog, it was pretty cool.
Ive never seen a pic of a caught hog I'd want on my shirt. Probably for the reason that, what non-hog doggers don't know won't hurt them. It's like a shirt with a bull fighter on it, then one with a bunch of swords sticking out of the bull. Maybe a little much for most people. BUT you never know, you might come up with a good one.
The drawing is nice, it just seems like it would be more of a girls shirt.
Good luck, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Ashley, you remember those old "sawgrass country" shirts? I don't know if they still make them, but they always had some pretty good realistic looking drawings on their shirts.

Maybe what you could do is have everyone send in some good action shots and see what you can work with from there. IDK if anyone has suggested this yet but it might be just what you need to get it going.

I HAVE BEEN SCREEN PRINTING FOR TWENTY YEARS AND OWNED MY OWN SHOP FOR THE LAST 14. YOU NEED TO HAVE GOOD ART! IF YOU ARE NOT A GRAPHIC DESIGNER DONT FOOL YOURSELF INTO THINKING THAT YOU CAN BUY PHOTOSHOP AND TEACH YOURSELF IN A COUPLE MONTHS. SAVE THE MONEY, TIME, YOUR FRUSTRATION AND THE FRUSTRATION OF YOUR SCREEN PRINTER AND HIRE A GRAPHIC DESIGNER WHO IS WELL VERSED IN SCREEN PRINTING. SCREEN PRINTING IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME THAN BUSINESS CARDS, LETTERHEAD, ETC, MAKE SURE THE GUY KNOWS SCREEN PRINTING! THEN YOU NEED TO HAVE A PRINTER THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING, ITS AMAZING HOW MANY THERE ARE OUT THERE THAT ARE HACKS.

Hey ed. Hows folks gonna learn to do it if they dont try it? U kinda sound like dealership service rep tryin to make an up sale. Folks gotta start small n work their way up. Why bring somethn in bits n pieces, when a person could take the time build a mock up of what they want n then take ur high tech high dollar equip n use ur expensive version of photoshop to print it. We all tryn to save a buck or 2 these days n yet u still hav folks with their hand out sayin pick me to giv ur money to.

I want this to be painless as possible, trust me I honestly do not have the 'time' it needs to do it all myself...I fully plan on getting someone graphically inclined to start me out and that I can watch over their shoulder so I can get an understanding of what it actually takes - everyone starts some where....even those awesome folks you know and the photoshop comment was just an excuse for my own personal endeavors not for this 'business' but more of an 'acceptable' excuse to give the other half so I wouldn't have to hear any baseless comments from him....surely you know how that works I haven't had time to send out the PM's I said I would, time is sparse around this household lol I gave my husband directions earlier to take all the sketches that his buddy had done to the graphic shop and get me some good info....guess where those sketches still are?! bless his heart so I will get it on my list of stuff to do but will take any numbers you guys are willing to throw at me so I can make phone calls.....the Christmas stuff looks out of site due to recent bids and trying to finish a rediculous job out at work, funny how things 'work out' goes from nothing to slammed when I get something to do for myself! I have a sketch of a momma gator and her babies that is pretty B.A. and I have a partial sketch of Goober and Chance in the ditch as well as my 'logo' which is SUPER cute lol I am excited and thanks for the support cause I really think this is going to be a fun ride if I can just get this dang balloon off the ground! I will definately let you know Lisa, I have big dreams if I can just get out from underneath this box lol

IM NOT TRYIN TO GET THE JOB!!! SOMEONE LOCAL WOULD BE A BETTER FIT. JUST ADVISE. IF A PERSON ISNT WELL VERSED IN GRAPHICS THEY CAN SPEND A TON OF MONEY ON SOFTWARE, A BUNCH OF TIME, AND THEN SEND IT TO A PRINTER WHO IS GOING TO HAVE TO RE-DRAW THE WHOLE THING AND CHARGE YOU $35-$70 AN HOUR TO DO IT. FOR EXAMPLE, PHOTOSHOP IS BEING THROWN AROUND HERE AND THAT IS THE WRONG TYPE OF PROGRAM TO DESIGN 95% OF STUFF THAT IS TO BE SCREEN PRINTED.
