Anyone buying hogs?  as beef goes up I was wondering if anyone was buying hogs?  I know we have been eating more pork!   Thought europe might be wanting some funky boars for the hollidays!

Damn Jody   You have a change of heart. You've had your knife in everything by the time I got the first dog off whenever I hunted with you.  LOL

Yes, my buyer just went up on the head bonus, actually getting back to the way it use to be.

not worth the fuel or corn to fool with them down here at 30 cents a pound, 200 pound hog only bringing 60 bucks??  If you have to pay for the gas to go 120 miles like we do down here its a money losing deal, every day you feed them u lose, not worth it, shame everybody  on ETHD does not get a coop going so we could demand higher prices the coop could demand and get all of these hogs making money for hogdogers by cutting out the middleman hog buyers

The coop is a great idea!  Would be great if you would head it, im sure everyone would jump on board!  I agree at those prices!  I was hoping something crazy happened & the tree huggers wanted to use pork to feed the world!

May be a dumb question, but here in NE OK, we dont have any buyers that I know of. I have seen prices listed on here at so much per pound, with a bonus. What exactly is that bonus part all about? Just curious.
