Headed home for the weekend on Sat afternoon. Had Floyd, Lacy, and Deuce loaded up. Went by Lindsays to pick her up and headed to the ranch. Met James White and Shane White at the ranch around dark. They had Shanes cat Tank, and James’s magic unicorn Woodrow. Cary, Crystal, and Lauren also wanted to tag along so we had a crew. Loaded up and headed to the bottoms. Kicked out and in about five min Lacy struck a few hundred yards to the north west then Tank and Floyd headed in. The bay broke before they got there and the dogs had to work him in some real thick stuff. Floyd finally got him stopped on the creek bank and we sent in Woodrow from three hundred yards. He hasn’t been hunting much lately so that was pushing it for him a bit but man did he hit hard. We heard the smack at 280 yards on the garmin. Made our way in and man it was thick, we finally made it to the creek and had to walk most the way down the side of the bank that was very steep. I was in first and just when I was almost to the hog I hit a catfish hole that I never found the bottom on (James also found it a few moments later haha). Got out of that and could tell they were bayed right around the corner on the bank. Didn’t hear any squeal or grunt so I thought it was a monster. Peeked my head around the corner to see Floyd and Woodrow each caught on an ear of about a 150 lbs boar. Couldn’t believe it wasn’t a big one but Lindsay got in and got him stuck and we called it a night. The next morning we meet up at Cary and Crystals on the ranch, Lindsay decided to stay in bed , but I figured I could make it without her. There had been a boar hog making his way every mornin to the pens we keep the hogs in and Papa had started baiting him and seeing him on a regular basis. We decide to get between him and the thick stuff and have Papa push him out to us. We get there on time but the boar was on the wrong side of the pens and he made us before we have time to spread out. We cut all the dogs lose right out of the box (wish I had Soco but he was in bed with Lindsay) as the boar burned up the pasture towards the thick. Lacy was right on his tail but couldn’t get around him and the other dogs were just flat burned. He makes it to the tree line and splits the dogs. We catch Woodrow, Lacy stays on him for a few miles in circles before he finally runs her to the creek. Lacy stops and bays the sow not far from us and we are there in a hurry thinking it’s the boar. Floyd gets there and shakes the woods with his bark and we send in Woodrow. He hits hard, again not hearing a sound we knew it was the boar and he was a good one. I get it legged to look down and see no manhood on the SOW that I just picked up. Floyed and Woody again both caught on the ear, I couldn’t believe the girl didn’t make a sound. I had just been getting fooled all weekend. Me and Cary tie her and drag her out, she was about 200 lbs and crippled (thank goodness or we probably wouldn’t have been able to catch her either). We get everyone together and I look around for Lacy to get some pictures and she is nowhere to be seen. Look at the garmin and she is around 950 treed. We decide to go ahead and take pictures (mistake) and load the sow and take her to the pen. After we snap some pictures we get the other dogs towards Lace and I stay with them while they take the sow to the pens. It was no use though, as the other two curs were spent and never even came close to getting there before the bay broke. We went and called the dogs in about a mile from where Lace had the bay and called it a day. It was a good weekend with some good friend! Gonna add pics with tapatalk

Floyd is still a handful but he is definitely earning his keep, he is on 12 ft of 1/4 inch chain and he can sit there jumping three and a half feet in the air poppin that chain like it ain't even there all day long... Then to get him off his chain when it's time to go huntin... Thats whole nother story. Thanks again Paul, he really is workin out good!

I think they have been there but those lousy mugs of yours just couldn't find them hahahaha! Just kiddin man. It is crazy! You need to tell your brother to suck about six pounds off that tank dog of his and get some legs under him. He won't listen to me... He thinks he is "muscled up"... But he jiggles when he runs...
