Well I called up a guy that my neighbor who
is a ferrier had said he had a hog problem,
so we ended up talking and then setting up a hunt
Sunday afternoon ! I gathered some good buddies
to hit the new spot and see what we would get
into, and as we were walking scoping out the place
my buddy Brett his dog opens up and hits the creek
runnin, well it was so windy the other dogs couldn't hear
anything so his dog ran around 700 yards and then made
his way back after a couple of minutes. We ended up driving
to were he was last stopped on the garmin, so we decide
to drop some other strike dogs on the ground, as we did that,
my (marble) dog which is (Parker Cur) and Sydneys dog
(brandy) which us catahula jumped in the woods and head out
around 600 yards , as they did marble opened up and brandy
opens up so then it was on ( poncho) who is BMC goes in and
Seals the deal with our catch dogs behind him. Long story short"
The land owner was happy because he had a guy run dogs on his
property and all they caught were skunks and said his dogs followed
his horse all day "! He was excited when we showed him the hogs
we caught and kept telling us to come back quickly if possible , man
was he happy! Good thing he is an old sherrif and might know some
others who could use some help with removing hogs!!!

What a great day. At the second strike a 250 and a 195 LB boar came out running at me while i was running to the bay, they saw me and took a left toward Paul. There was a big group of hogs in the cedar trees. The dogs got a sow bay under a cedar tree. Later Marble struck, caught and was eating her own little piglet. Sidney
