Keep her on full time feed and give her a couple of raw eggs everyday.
Make sure and worm her with strongid and the pups every two weeks.

Everything I have read says raw eggs are very bad for dogs. Cooked are ok.

x2 on what Mike says...Also Mama dog loses lots of nutrients/calories feeding the pups. need to feed her all she can eat at least twice a day and more if she wants to eat... Have plenty of water because she need lots of water for her to make milk. Colder weather means more calories burned to keep warm so that is a factor. you can add a tablespoon or more of cooking oil or bacon grease on her food for the added calories...

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...

Feed a quality feed, meat base, & worm good. It is going to be hard to add weight to her if already thin! Good feed & wormer!

John,
I have not been on the computer much lately. Hows Lil Joe doing? As far as the momma dog give her Pediasure every day, it will get her fat while raising pups. Take care brother.
