YOU DARN RIGHT---ITS DRY!

I live in Kerrville and the news said we havnt had a measurable RAIN since August 2007!  That is about right.   They said last year we got 6in total.

By my gauge at my house we got about 8in TOTAL for the year.   That was normally in 1\4in increments that burned off as soon as it hit.

I have seen some of the small Cedars starting to die here(I didnt think they could be killed)

Anyone else as dry as it is here?

i've never seen our tank this low ever.  and a lot of the places i have to hunt don't have a large supply of water anymore either.  my honey hole done dried up.  lookin pretty bad.  it should be interesting to see how the contest turns out for local hunters.

    i thought id seen dry,  this sand crud up here plus the idiots trying to burn up the countryside,
   wading through the sand ankle deep is rough on a half crippled fat boy laugh laugh laugh

Throckmorton is terribly dry.  Startin to look like last year when we had the fire whistles goin off all the time.  If it does it now though, things could get real bad.
