Got a call the other night from the land owner that the hogs are back and to come get them. My buddy and i went over there friday night and let out and the dogs were gone. Could see sings every were and new it would be a good night. The dogs all made around off about 250 yards and came back in well all but one off them. He was out on the creek about 450 out going up and down it just a working. We sait there for about 5 ot 10 min waiting on him when we heard him open up. Was not for sure if it was him or some town dogs and it seamed like the dogs werent not sure either. After he opened up somemore i knew  it was him and sent the dogs in to help. When we new they had it bayed up we went in to seal the deal and it was a good one. He went around 190 to 225 and they had him in the creek, i waded across and my buddy went up the other side to see if we could go in after him but couldn. Gene called the dogs off and we shot him. loaded up the dogs and went a cross the creek  and the dogs struck out again, ran this one about 800 yrd and got him stoped. When i got there, didnt want to go the long way with the ranger so i hot footed it across the hay field and bet them it was a little 50 lbs poder. think they hit a bunch and lined out on that one.. We called it a night and dicided to come back sunday and try again.
We got out there sunday around 8 and let the dogs out and they hit one over on the creek. Ran him around 500 and had him bayed up inthe creek. Was real glad to stop him cause he was the same one the out ran us the last two times.. that ol boar weighed 190 on teh scales. was a real good weekend and had alot of fun with the family and friends.
