Hey Bro, this is not a scientific study, but let me tell you what I've seen, those dogs you've hunted with who live at my office have all been fed Victor teal bag (puppy food) for almost a year now. They have good skin hair healthy eyes and are most all tight bodied dogs, blah blah blah I like Victor pretty good. Ratty, Bird, Lola and all the rest at the farm eat sportmix, victor, diamond, dog chow, retriever, chickens, hogs, fish and every road killed deer that I can salvage and the farm dogs, while their poop changes colors every time, are just fine. A dogman whom I have the utmost respect for told me just a few weeks ago that he feeds dog chow and said boy do you have any idea how many of the greatest dogs in history have survived on whatever was on sale? I'm starting to think he's right. Get what you can afford and dont let nobody tell you your doing it wrong. You KNOW ill never get in your case about racey built dogs

I’v been doing the whatever is on sale thing for thirty years and finally did some research and found that dogs can and will do good on raw meat just as their ancestors did . I now field dress hogs ,freeze them whole for twenty four hours then saw them up on my meat saw hide and all. I then package it in one pound packages and refreeze until needed. Working great so far!! Hunt’um up!!!
