id hope so, but im thinking about a 4 maybe 5  man crew and each person can contribute a dog to the hunt dont want too many dogs, we got a lil while till deer season ends so no quick decisions being made
it would propably turn to a weekend hunt.. friday evening, saturday evening and thru sunday as well not sure yet.

but im sure id like to hear that HORSE squeal!

Good hog for sure but come on folks, id guess him at 325-375. I say this because the rest of the hogs in the pic are babies and that is a graze feeder that he is straining for. Deer eat out of that.

Once again seriously good hog. How many of you think that for a big bad hog you are more likely to catch him by dropping every dog you got plus your buddies dogs?

I'm not saying what I think, just wondering.

I would say he's about 300, And don't look like he has much for teeth..
But still a good hog...
I'd drop one or two grown dogs on him...

This is my thoughts as well, quality over quantity. Lots of people have never seen it done though and a lot of hog hunters are developing a posse mentality. Heck me and my partners just did it the other night, got one that hasn't been stopping. Put some more good dogs on him, and still didn't work. Changing tactics now.

I ain't being a know it all, just wanted to see what the general mindset of other hunters is. For you guys who empty the yard every hunt, just try one time to only put out your best dog by itself and see if hedont surprise you.

i would use 2 dogs to strike and bay and take 3 catch dogs to seal the deal  we have caught more big hogs with 2 to 3 dogs on the ground  than we ever have running a large pack

Made me think of that scene in Jaws where the sheriff is chumming and the shark comes out of the water, he tells ol Quint "WE NEED A BIGGER BOAT"!
looks like with that biggun "U GONNA NEED MORE DOG"!
Good luck and post him when u get him tied
"YOU ARE GONNA NEED A BIGGER CATCH DOG!"
