My wife has been a public school bus monitor for ten years. Last year a fella grabbed her ass and made a pass at her. She reported sexual harrassment and the guy got counseled on sexual harassment policies and that was all. Last week a man a man approached her that she works with and asked her if she needed a sugar. daddy. She said no but he kept two or three more times before she reported him. Nothing was done at all. She comes in tears yesterday cuz her boss pulled her file and texted her about being the man she dreams of at night. Would not tell her who he was. He then gets on the radio and tells her driver to tell my wife to quit texting him. Now everyone she works with is rumoring that shes having an affair.  So I went there this morning and talked to the main man around there. Last night she explained to me how she felt like people viewed her as a slit and easy. We talked for a few hours all the while our 4 yr old son is waiting to whoop me cuz he thought I made momma cry! Our oldest two kids were pretty upset that their momma was crying too. Now she is a looker but do people not think about how she feels inside about herself. Her biggest dream in life is to be the wife of a goodan that will give his self to her as she has to him. Shes lives breaths and eats married... and anyone that knows her knows this. Why would someone cross these lines? And what should I do? Before children id be looking for bail money but I do have responsibilities now. The incidents have been reported but I still feel like throwing someone a beating. Shes talking about quitting her job cuz of all this. And this is my woman. No way am I gonna let her feel like this becuz of ignorance and conceit!  Definitely gonna see some woods tonite

Contact your nearest EEOC and make a claim. Not sure where you are at but if you need help figuring it send me your number in a PM and I will explain it to you.

If I didn't have three kids and ten dogs id be locked up tite. I used to be the guy that didn't care if they were married or not but I didn't push it if they said no. That was that and we went on.  But now when u keep pushing her after she says no and u text her at nite talking stupid...well that crosses the line.  I've met plenty of unhappily married women but most times they r splitting from their husbands. Mine is happily married. Why I have no idea but shes happy to have me for whatever reason. I understand guys hitting on her but to push it after a no just pisses me off. Women r people. They should be respected as such. And most women are loyal to their man and that kind of speaks for their identity. Do not disrespect em and keep trying to talk em into bed after they tell u no. And don't be mad when their husband whoops ur ass for it either. Eric is just equal oppurtunity laws like no sexual harassment, no picking on someone for being ld, etc. Well shes going down there today when she gets to town

Keep climbing the "corporate ladder".
Tell the next "boss" in line above the highest you've already spoken to.
Your off to a good start and I commend you for your level-headed-ness.
I doubt I would have spoke to anyone except the harasser and it would have cost me big TIME.

Keep those texts and any other hard evidence, then just take it up the ladder....if he puts his hands on her then she needs to file a report so its documented.  I bet os she threatens them with a law suit someone listens.

Bless her heart, tell her to hold her head high cause she (and those closest to her) know the truth ..... all those other opinions shouldn't matter to her.

Hope ya'll get it resolved soon!

That's ridiculous!!! There is a movie, and I think it's Snatch, but they say pigs eat everything except the teeth... just saying! LOL! but seriously, get her a taser! Tell her next time someone goes to feeling her up, tear their A$$es up! Pretty much BREAK 'EM! Bet you they will think twice on touching her again. My wife probably would have pulled out her .40 cal out and made 'em crap their pants... Good luck to ya!

Lawyers are blood suckers but they can serve a purpose and they drool over this kind of thing. Any text message can be traced back to it's origin. You are a family man and doing the right thing even though it's harder than just going and cracking some heads. I've been a family man for many years and my head cracking has been limited to my brother in laws, but I have friend who is not a family man and likes to fight. Maybe you have a friend as well. I'm with Texas though sounds like a law suit.

I did send a PM with link to the nearest office. I did spend a summer in the legal department of an EEOC office. 99% of the people that walk in got fired and just don't know why. Cases like this get attention because of the information. Cell phone companies have to keep copies of texts. Emails are great too. The things that make it past the interview to the legal department would make you want to go take some people out. I could never work there for long because I would burn out. When I worked there I was limited on what I could tell people.

This does not sound like the 99%. So I would say you do not need a lawyer for this yet. You can get one if you want. The first step is the EEOC. When they contact the employer the employer may take action and offer a settlement right then. Make sure some disciplinary action is taken against the guys. Do not be afraid to ask that they get fired. Sometimes they do the right thing up front. But then it will go to an investigator in the legal department. They will get all the information and call people. I can tell you when a call comes in from the EEOC people talk. I had people give me their cell phone number and ask me to call at a certain time so they could be in a parking lot so nobody heard them. So give the names of anybody that might have heard anything. I would bet some of them are pissed off and just don't know who to tell without losing their own job. Those people are happy to get a call. I helped people get very large settlements. If the company wants to be a jerk it will cost them even more and they know it. There is way too much to put on here. So if you get confused just let me know. If they offer you choice most of the time they know what is best but they can't tell you. This sounds like a case that gives you all the options. Also remember that once you go to the EEOC if they give your wife an evaluation that is suddenly worse, or start writing her up that can be retaliation. If they are that stupid be sure to tell the EEOC because that is a whole new game and it will cost them. That is almost the dumbest thing a company can do.

Should be an easy case. Any questions just send a PM.

I'm not gonna fight anyone yet... bills have to be paid and kids have to have a hunting partner but I can't say if I see him in a good spot I won't. Guys hit on her all the time, I'm not really defensive about it anymore. Its the tears that got me. I'm the only person my wife should cry over and I won't make her do that for nothing. Shes at the oea office right now. I'm waiting on a call. And action has already been taken against the guys.  Her boss is kinfolk to us.  But why do men push a woman like this. Knowing shes married and happy and knowing me they do it anyways. Like I said her whole life shes just wanted a family. A husband an some lil ones is all she ever wanted. This is a crock of bs and it will be dealt with legally but deep down I wanna...

I don't know but I can say but I can only guess they don't love their mother. I saw a case come in that was flat out sexual assault. Another man told a 15 year old girl to have sex with him or she was fired. I think dads, brothers, and husbands should be allowed to defend their honor.

Coyote,

In todays world these bottom suckers tend to hide behind the system.
Im very old school I believe if a man has a problem with another he should stand face to face and let the others know he wont put up with any chit directed towards his family. This usually works for me.
I once had a coach that was texted my little sister 16 at the time.
My family tried the legal chit and got us nowhere.
I followed him home one evening and beat his azz in front of his wife in thier front yard and then told her what happened and left.
Never heard anything else from him nor did my sister.

I understand that. I had two sisters and I was the only male in the house. I thought I was going to killed over my little sister. I think family values should be protected. This is work so I would take it to the people in charge. But they better hope I don't see them away from their job. I saw a man flirting with a married woman and I heard her tell the man she was married and then to leave her alone. I did not know her but I went over to help the man hear better anyway. Machiavelli said a man will forgive you for killing his father quicker than he will forgive you for taking his wife.
