Tonka update...4 months and 10 days old...seems to be pretty smart and has a real good nose. I think he is going to be gritty like his dam. he bays pretty tight on a 70 pound shoat.

I hope he makes a hog dog...

The tan one is a bullmastiff/Dane x a Dogo/pit 4 month old gyp. The yellow one is a pointerxpit 5 1/2 months gyp an the black one is 3/8 hound 1/8 leopard 4/8 red cur from a good friends line of dogs  5 months old gyp. These r my pups for next winter.

Looks like you have your hands full with some good looking youngsters as well Middleton.

I am down to two out of originally eight. They still got a few more tests ahead before they get their permanent live here status cards. Lol.  Thanks for posting guys.

Wish I had 8 to pick from but only have 3... Sad But I really like this pup. he came out the dog house first, as well as out of the pen and learned to drink out of the liksit...he is ahead on everything. as you can see he is built right and has that independent and confident look about him...I named him TONKA. he is on track at this time Smiley

Not quite 6 weeks old.







Tonka went on his first hunt today and he hung all the way for quite a few miles...and he was in on the bay and baying pretty good on about a 200 pounder with good teeth..he even latched on some... :)another thing I noticed that I liked is that he didn't hesitate to jump in and swim a canal...

Tonka just turned 5.5 months old...

can't say for certain but lots of mtn curs have that white stripe on the forehead...

Newbie on here, and to running hog dogs. From SW LA. Just getting my pack started up. These are my two cur pups, and my two little demon Jagds. The Jagds will be here Thursday.
