Very nice pups Cutter, I really like the male pup.  I sure wish I could have a kennel full.

How big does your line get?  We have a friend that has a blue tick but he looks like he is on the petite side, especially when he is out with my red tick/walker.

The females are usually 59-65 #'s.  The males are anywhere from 70-80 #'s.  They are generally taller built dogs when they mature.  They are built for speed with good running gear.

Thanks.  It is the hog flooring known as "Nursery Tenderfoot".  It is very nice.  Mine is one block high inside the chainlink kennel.  It is very nice on their feet.  This is the first litter I have tried on it, and I'm sure I'll go this route again.

Josh you gave me a firecracker son you may well have done something with this breeding I'm happy with him besides the fact he is a hard headed son of a gun. He is smart as a whip and he is independent not scared of anything and gives these cats around here hell there are a few around here missing some fur  I haven't pushed him or forced anything on him he saw a cat and he's now obsessed when he goes out he's looking for one. I know it's early but just watching him I like him. The one question I have though with the Rambo II blood were you hoping to add some tree power or a change over bark from what I noticed on Ramsey and Beula they Bawl on  tree do think He will throw a chop or somekind of change over on tree. Brahma treed a couple coons and he had the bawl on tree as well. Thanks for the pup I hope you end up regreting giving him to me that overbite doesnt mean he won't hunt buddy.

Blake,
He was a cull to me. When you asked about a pup to hunt, I knew he would do that. I hope he blossoms into a nice hound for you.  As far as the outcross reasoning, I was needing an outcross that would not take away in too many departments from what I hunt.  The sire should mesh nicely with Beulah. I prefer a good bawl mouth, which the sure had. He had a very clear bawl. He chops on tree. He throws a good locate as well.
