I took off work today so I could take the dogs out and try to catch a hog. Both of my female BMCs are in heat so all I had to take was my hound L.T and Bo my catchdog. I turned the dogs out about 30 minutes before daylight. I've never really hunted L.T without any help so I was curious to see how he would do. After walking about 15 minutes I looked on the Garmin and L.T was about 350 yards out and moving. He finally started barking at about 400 yards and as I got closer I could tell he was on a group. I turned Bo loose and hogs scattered everywhere. Bo ran in and grabbed one and L.T took off after another. I got the one Bo had and L.T was bayed 100 yards off. I let Bo go again and he went straight to L.T. Not the biggest hogs by any means but I was proud of my dogs for getting us some "groceries". ![](http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv101/jet308/IMG00226-20111202-0652.jpg) ![](http://i674.photobucket.com/albums/vv101/jet308/IMG00229-20111202-0741.jpg)

I hear ya...if Hondo keeps it up he should be a heck of a dog. And yeah Rita and Yella keep getting in the pen together trying to breed each other...not sure what that's all about.
