Been slowin down alot since deer season but still slippin a few night hunts in here and there first hunt me and ray meet up after gettin a call from a deer hunter gettin out of a stand lookin at a ton of pigs on some wheat, get everything ready and put Rebel on the hood headed towards the wheat field, he starts gettin piggy and jumps off goes bout 650 and bays we unleash the rest of the pack rays 2 cat pups and my darby and lucy head to the bay and they start catchin on this lil white sow before we get there, lucy and rebel roll out bay up a couple times briefly but end up only gettin the one sow
Load up and head down the road to some more wheat, unload everyone and road along the edge of the field, dogs are huntin good we see rebel and darby start a track off this wheat in the spotlights of the jeep, nose to the ground and gone 600 yds, gettin that feelin again.... nothin happens still quiet.... darby comes back and soon as we see her rebel bays 600 yds right where they both had stopped, pretty disappointed the pup didnt finish the track, she was right there kinda weird, but everyone gets there hammerin down and we walk sassy and dingo in and caught hog in a shallow creek, too far to drag so we put him down, nice 200 lbs boar that worked these dogs over with his lil shanks
Next hunt me ray and josh meet up throw dogs on the ground lucy chevelle achilles and crystal, strike this good boar chowin on some acorns probably, bays up good 175 yds from the jeep breaks as soon as we let sassy and ruger go but get him stopped shortly, walk in get him thrown hobbled and on the jeep, good 220 lbs boar....
Hit the woods thanksgiving night with ray and kelly, see a good group runnin off some wheat, dump the dogs on their trail and bayed about 100 yds send in sassy and dingo and catch a nice sow weighed 180 but no pics
